To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before

This is one of my favorite songs. Not just this recording of it, but the music written by Albert Hammond is a truly lovely melody, and the lyrics by Hal David resonate in myriad ways. I’ve loved many women in many different ways, not just as a boyfriend, but also as a son, as a father, and as a friend. The song has been covered by many artists, but the most popular version remains the 1984 collaboration between Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson presented here.
